I guess "weird" is too innocuous.

It was the night after we finished that fake dungeon... It felt like I was being watched. Or... something more than that, like it was seeing into me.

[It was a little more than just a feeling, but he doesn't want to panic anyone by mentioning literal eyes in the sky if it was just him.]

Maybe it was just a side effect of that beholder, though.
