[Well this is. Interesting. To say the least. Izuku had never been one for these sorts of things. He hated theme park rides and the train was about as much as he preferred to handle when it came to transporation.

But to be floating... not even floating, flying through space towards some destination unknown seemed like something out of a dream. He'd thought about how they'd get down from the moon and he imagined it much more like how they'd arrived, quick and a little disorienting. He didn't expect to have time to take in the strange yet majestic sites of the world around them.

So many stars. So many worlds off in the distance.

He presses his nose to the glass.]

So we get to ride in these every time we go on a mission?

[It's really bizarre. Flying around in space is just so bizarre, it's something he'd never really thought about before. He'd been dead set on being a hero so things like "I wanna be an astronaut" never really crossed his mind, or never stuck for long. Experiencing it out of the blue like this is just...

Bizarre!! But he's no better than Izuku, either, staring out the glass with his face as close to it as possible.]

It's pretty awesome. This is the stuff that's above us all the time but we're out actually in it now. Nothing's gonna hit us, right? Like comets?

[Look at these two nerds, all excited about space travel like a couple of nerds would be. Though.. Bakugo was admittedly scared of being in space himself. He just doesn't like the idea of it-- being in a void that could kill you in an instant if you so much as touch it. His first ride involved him pretending to be asleep the entire time so he didn't have to think about it but this time he's not so lucky with his two friends who are relying on him, since he's been here longer.

So he's staring out the window himself with a pout, his boot tapping anxiously against the floor of the pod as he tries to pretend like he's his usual grumpy self and totally doesn't care about the threat of exploding in space or whatever.]

Didn't hit us last time, so they ain't gonna hit us now. Even the freak with the crazy bad luck hasn't gotten hit by anything yet.

[He's talking about Komaeda.

After that, he looks over to Deku who looks like a kid in a candy store. Just in total awe at the stars surrounding the three of them as they fly their way to the next spot for their mission.]

As far as I can tell these shitty balls are the only thing we've got to transport ourselves so, yeah. You're in fucking luck 'cuz you get to fly around in space every other goddamn month-- though the landing's gonna be rough.

Dunno if you'll keep your heads after we hit the ground.

[Seriously. The only mission he's been on had a really rough landing-- though it doesn't help that he says that with a malicious looking grin. Trying to intimidate the other two a little bit because he's in a poor mood so clearly they have to be, too.]

Yeah, I figure the pod must have some kind of mechanism in place to prevent impact with things other than the targeted area. It's pretty impressive when you think about it.

[He gives Kirishima a smile as he says it, though it fades a little as Kacchan goes on.]

A rough... landing? So they're sort of a one-way ticket ride?

[Kirishima hums in reply to both of them, nodding. Well, if those two are confident they won't get hit then he won't worry. He grins instead, turning to focus on Bakugo and that last statement.]

A rough landing isn't shit to me!

[He lifts his hands up, hardening them and pounding them together to prove his point. Just try and take him out, pod!!]

I'll go right through that island before I get hurt!

[For a second, Bakugo almost looks impressed at how goddamn stupid Kirishima was.

Just a second, before his eyebrows furrow angrily and he smacks his best friend upside the head.]

You better be fucking prepared to use your Quirk for the rest of the day then, you fucking dumbass!

[Unlike Deku who can use his Quirk when he wants, at a lower power and Bakugo who can use it every other month at a lower power, Kirishima.. can only use it one time per day, as they've found out.

And he used it just now. Out of habit. What a fucking idiot.]

[Kirishima...

He loves you but... sometimes... he's a little concerned for you like... are you okay... in your brain?

Either way, he pats Kirishima's arm affectionately.]

I'm sure we'll manage. You don't have to keep your quick on for the entire ride for our sakes.

[Look, it's just habit!! You guys don't get to judge him you can use yours whenever you want! Minus the moon for Bakugo.

But he stares at his hands in slight horror with the knowledge of what he's just done. Well fuck.]

No I can use it all day, it's fine...it's the least I can do for messing up like this.

[He's gotta work harder at remembering that limitation...or learning more useful magic to make up for it or something.]

[Bakugo settles back when he sees Kirishima's disappointment at himself, and he looks back outside for a moment, just long enough to see an asteroid fly right by them.

Hm.

Gonna just focus back on his two idiot friends instead, actually.]

Learn how to remember about your goddamn limitations and skills, you fucking moron. You've been here a month already and you're still using your Quirk out of habit? Hah!

[As he says that, Bakugo lifts his hand just to check his own. To test a lil bit and see if it's back yet... he forces out a little bit of sweat and ignites it, sending tiny sparks around his hand and that gets a grin out of him.]

Fuckin' finally.

[Izuku on the other hand watches the asteroid go by, pushing his face against the glass to watch it until it fades into the distance. It's really incredible, the speed in which the pod is moving. It really shouldn't be possible but he's learning to accept these impossible things.]

Yeah. Things are gonna be harder when we can't use our Quirks like we're used to. Which just needs we have to be more strategic about when and how we use them.

[Then he grins.]

Ah, Kacchan! Your Quirk! It's back!

[He's so... happy for you.]

I've been working on it! [He swears he has! But it's a lot easier said than done when you can only use it once after being able to use it freely your whole life!!!!! He sighs and leans back a little, rubbing at his hair. Let's focus on Bakugo instead of him and his stupid brain.]

It comes back faster than I was expecting. You kinda made it sound like you couldn't use it until you were at the mission site when you complained about it before.

It's not like they can just turn my Quirk on and off like a fucking light switch, dipshit! They hosed me down with some bullshit motherfucking sweat-blocking garbage that takes a month to wear off!

[He says that with such ferocity and hatred... he hates this place with every fiber of his bone.

And then he turns to Deku again, just as ferocious even though he hasn't even done anything wrong. But he's used to that by now.]

And why are you so giddy about my Quirk coming back, hah?!

Oh. It's interesting they have that sort of capability despite there not being quirks here.

[He says and does his best to keep a neutral expression despite the fact he finds them hosing down Kacchan sort of... really hilarious. Not that he'll laugh at Kacchan in a tiny confined space. He's dumb but he's not a fool.

Then smiles a little and shrugs.]

It's just... Your Quirk is part of you, right? I bet back at the base, you miss it. So I'm just happy to see you be whole again. Plus it means you'll be able to really do a lot on the mission.

[Kirishima laughs a little, but it's a good natured laugh. Absolutely not a "it's funny that they hose you down" one.]

Yeah, Midoriya's right! You could even tell by the way you said finally just now that you've gotta miss it a lot. [And all the complaining. And how angry you just got about it.] It's pretty natural to be happy for you.

[To both of them staring at him like that, with nothing but affection in their gazes as they tell him that they're glad he's whole again, Bakugo can feel his face heat up with embarrassment. His eye twitches and a vein in his throat pulses angrily, but since they're in such a tiny enclosed space and he can't just leave he decides to save their ears and just give an annoyed "Tch!", instead of yelling at the both of them to fuck off.

He's definitely pouting though, jerking his face away from them towards the outside again. Out of everyone to have been brought back to life or whatever it had to be you two pure chucklefucks, didn't it?!??]

Izuku just gives him and Kirishima a smile and looks out the pod window, resting his cheek against the glass. It's strange. There's no horizon to orient himself to. Just blackness and stars in the distance. It's strange. He wonders if he would even be able to recognize his home if he saw it from here.

Except it's gone, he remembers, there'd be nothing to see there. He, Kirishima, and Kacchan are all that's left. Which means he has to complete the mission and give it everything he's got.

He stares out the glass as they get closer and closer to Maru. Then he realizes he's starting to get a bit of a headache, so he has to close his eyes. Actually... he feels a bit nauseous too. Oof, and looking out seems to make both worse.]

Uh. Does anyone else feel a little sick? Is that normal? Like weird gravity stuff?

[Are you really complaining Bakugo? You probably could have been stuck with worse classmates. Or, even worse, a villain or two. Is it really so bad that it's these two who lived with you?]

Huh?

[Kirishima turns to Izuku, tilting his head a little before giving the question some thought.]

...no, I feel alright. You need to lay down or something?

[OH GREAT NOW DEKU'S COMPLAINING ABOUT BEING SICK]

It's normal for weaklings who get sick riding a goddamn kiddy coaster.

[Bakugo looks back towards Deku with a furious glare, but it's not really like Deku could.. help it..]

[There's a story there. That's what happens when you know someone all of your life. Lots of embarrassing stories.

Though most of them are on Izuku's end, let's be honest. But he probably has a few things on Bakugo.]

[Well, whether Deku actually feels like he'll puke or not-- Bakugo's not going to chance it. He grabs the other teen's cheek and forcefully shoves him over into Kirishima, holding him in place so he can't turn his head to look back over at Bakugo even if he wanted to.]

[NOT GONNA TAKE A SINGLE CHANCE]

Hey wait! Doing that might make it worse for him!

[You can't be forceful with someone who's feeling nauseous! Probably? At least he's not complaining about the possibility that Deku might puke on him. It's okay dude, he'll take it if he has to, since some people have no sympathy here.]

Y-yeah, Kacchan. Maybe you could let go? Please?

[Being manhandled is... not great right now.]

[Sure, Deku. He'll let go. But not after giving you a hard shove over to the other teen instead.

And after he does that, he scoots over about a foot from Deku as if he's scared of catching something from him, shooting him a glare that dares him to move close.]

Listen up you fucks, this is your first mission and it's not going to be fun. All the shit you learned in Hero Class is useless here, and your Quirks might as well not exist in the first place.

[Oh guess dad's here to give them a lesson now. Maybe changing the subject will make Deku feel less nauseous somehow.]

Just follow my lead, and don't run off to do your usual stupid bullshit that you two chucklefucks are known for doing unless you want to get yourself killed.

[He does his best to catch Deku and keep them both from falling over or something, glancing between him and Bakugo. Oh, it's Speech Time now apparently okay...he'll uh. Man okay will rubbing your back help Deku???]

It can't all be useless, can it? The stuff we learned back home? Maybe our Quirks are but we still just gotta fight stuff and beat whatever villains are there, right?

[Everything he's heard has sounded pretty straightforward for the most part??]

[BLESS KIRISHIMA. YOU ARE PURE SOUL OF LIGHT AND GOODNESS. He groans a little as Kirishima rubs his back, trying not to look outside. Which is hard when you're in a bubble.

Then he looks up, zeroing in on what Kacchan is saying.]

Kirishima is right. It sounded like a lot of the survival and Hero skills would actually be pretty useful. Especially if we get creative with them.

...I mean. Everyone is counting on us, that means we'll have to use everything we've learned and anything we can find or think of to make sure we are successful.
