There's a split second flash where his mind helpfully provides an image of Lion's body broken and mangled like Amada's mother, and in that moment halfway en route to a panic attack his thoughts suddenly take a sharp left turn and he realizes the answer was right there all along. Shinjiro all but yanks the Evoker out from its place at his waist, and with how badly his hand shakes it's a minor miracle he doesn't fumble it.
The gun gets placed to his temple as always and he almost false starts with the trigger once or twice from the shaking, but eventually, he manages to pull it.]

[And all at once a massive horselike beast emerges from Shinjiro and manifests before Lion's eyes, charging right off the side of the floating continent until it''s suddenly under them. Shinjiro's voice is somewhat far away by now, but he's yelling at the top of his lungs, hang onto him-- and his hand is still desperately shaking, white-knuckled against the Evoker.
If his Persona literally never cooperates again that will be fine, just. Please. Let this work.]
