[See Shinjiro. See Shinjiro wandering around the refreshments area, occasionally pausing for a second or two near the boozy punch before moving on, and then coming back. See Shinjiro muttering about something every time he approaches.
This boy has a Dilemma, you see, and it's not so much to do with his age as the fact that he does not know what'll happen to certain horsebeasts that live in his psyche if he allows himself to get even a little drunk. On the other hand .... everything's been a Lot and he's really tired and would really like to escape for a night. All this is, of course, complicated by depression and guilt, too, though he tries to silence that nagging discomfort about allowing himself that escape with the more practical side of concerns.
In the meantime, he's going to wear out a hole in the movie room floor pacing so hard. Maybe you'd like to tell him to stop? Or just ask him what the hell his problem is. Or worse, you had a minor collision while he's been off somewhere else in his head and he's momentarily blanked on acknowledging this with his actual human mouth words. Shinjiro.exe has encountered a fatal exception and must restart.]

[Lesser known Shinjiro facts: he's actually wildly competitive, despite the lack of any actual judges. Which is to say, he's getting REAL into this, carving into the pumpkin with gusto where he otherwise might not have bothered.
Careful not to cut yourself on the edge, though. It's kind of hilarious next to the cutesy wings. He is definitely not compensating at all no sir not even a little.]
