For one, Wash has officially adopted Angus into his group of Kids Who Need Protecting. Angus is a kiddo and this situation is hell on earth, so Wash is definitely keeping an eye out for him while he's in Shadowdale - making sure he gets enough food and rest, taking out any monster that gets too close, and warning him against rolling that three-sided die.
After two successful research missions together, Wash has realized that this kid is, at the least, very well-read, and he's going to ask him about the events of 200 years ago - the floating Netherese city, the Chosen versus the cultists, and the eventual destruction of Myth Drannor. Has he read anything about any of that? Because Wash has been thinking about Wonderland's enchantment, and the physical aspects of what's going on around here, and he's wondering if the paladins/cultists/city itself have played into it somehow, especially after the way the Rolands reacted to him asking around. What does he think?
