add another to the pile...

[Everything is off. A game, a nightmare, being controlled: it's not unlike the fears in his own dark moments, but twisted even further and painted over with a pink brush. It's horrible. Sayori is there, with her friends, then isn't. He does-doesn't belong here.

Things he wouldn't do. Thoughts he wouldn't think. Words he wouldn't say. He hates it, wants to take Sayori by the hand and tear her out of this glitched place, but he's trapped in a role defined for him by forces he could never have known about.

let me out let me out LET ME OUT

It fractures in a way that's vaguely familiar, pieces of his soul and memory torn one way while his body is trapped, but it's so much more (worse) than empty space in the gap. It's hard to keep track of. Poems and conversations, confessions of love and despair that weren't meant for him. His heart breaks for Sayori all the same.

Monika's voice grates as he's forced to stare at the corpse of yet another friend, and there's something to it, something knowing and carefree as she destroys something so precious and it reminds him so much of the man he hates

Then finally, finally, he regains control, and a word filled with power is the first thing that comes out of him, rejecting the final outcome of the scene. He won't let this happen. He refuses.]

No!

[Levitate. A simple spell with myriad uses, and maybe this time it will save a life. All the weight pressed against Sayori's neck disappears, leaving her floating as Ferran darts forward with his dagger to cut her free as carefully and quickly as he can.]
