That's not the only thing you're good at. Because skills good for detective work can be applied elsewhere, right? Intelligent, observant, detail orientated, excellent problem solving skills, creative and abstract thinking, ability to apply knowledge you learn in a situation effectively, knowing the right questions to ask...those are all great for detective work, but they're great for other things too. Really, the only thing you have that I'd consider being a detective only skill is your intuition as a detective.

Of course, all together, it's no wonder you're the SHSL Detective. But if you stop thinking about it all as this package of "this is all I'm good at, so I have to do it like this", you'll probably have better luck being more useful. We're all more than our talents. You are more than your talent. That's not your only defining trait, or your only skill. Talents are overrated.
