He has to close his left eye to keep the cut on his brow from dripping into it after that, which limits his ability to watch what's going on around them, and it's not great for his state of mind right now. It's a miracle he didn't just lose the eye from how he was holding the mirror, and he'll appreciate that later (maybe), but there's at least a dozen pieces of glass to get out of him first. ... he's not about to rush them, though. He'll have to think about how to pay them back later...]
