Kokichi's quiet as he listens, nodding or humming to show that he's paying attention. He doesn't push him as he explains, letting him talk freely instead. It's sad but, again, not entirely unfamiliar to him either.

His mom sounds like a really wonderful person, for sure. And wanting to be strong like that is really good! He tells him to remember to be honest with himself sometimes too, though. There's nothing wrong with crying if you ever need to. That's waaaaay healthier than bottling everything up and trying to just grin and bear it, and you're definitely no weaker for it.

He does ask, again, if his father ever shows up to Wonderland. He asks him what he looks like, too. As his leader, he has to make sure to keep him out of harm's way, so he wants to make sure he'll know if he seems him. Just in case.
