But she hates to mope in her room when she has a roommate, even if he was nice enough to allow her the privacy of having the bedroom to herself. It's embarrassing. She doesn't want to be an embarrassment.
So she drags herself to the sleepover, though no one would ever know the amount of effort it took to convince herself to come, the way she cheerfully sets up her bedroll with her pen and notebook on top of it--along with a small stuffed cow she bought at Fantasy Costco.
Also from Fantasy Costco are her new pajamas, which she is already wearing as she approaches Kaede. In her hands, she holds Supercookie--a sandwich that consists of two magical chocolate chip cookies and one triple chocolate cookie in the middle.
She has to swallow the gigantic bite she took of it to smile and answer.] Yeah! [It's better than moping in her room. She plops down next to Kaede on the ground.] You're Kaede, right? It was really nice of you to invite everyone!

[is it troll storytime? it's troll storytime.]
On Alternia, sleepovers serve an important function out for trolls who live out in the wilderness, away from the safety of numbers of the cities. Young trolls often band together to survive the day, which is when the heinous broods of the undead rise from their dread slumber and attempt to feast upon the living. We'd fortify our hives, drive off any zombies that broke past our defenses, and write in a slam books and shit talk everyone we didn't like while braiding hair to pass the time.

[In general, Roxas isn't sure what he's doing here. Sleepovers are something of a foreign concept to him. Maybe there's a fuzzy, fake one from his time in the Digital Twilight Town, but he's still not up for trusting those memories. They remain weird to him. So instead, he's here, with chocolate chip cookies and his camping gear. Or at the very least a pillow and sleeping bag]
So, uh. what do we do first?
[B]
[Roxas isn't really sleeping. He's a light sleeper in general and it's kind of hard when he's surrounded by people, he's found. Plus there's a lot of stars out, and Roxas hasn't really stared at the stars a lot. Mostly he just remembers the dark skies of the The World that Never Was or the sunsets of Twilight Town. It's putting a lot of the things he learned about the Planar System into perspective.]

[It was indeed true that they all needed a break, but, he was unsure if he should really join in on such a thing. It would just lead to disaster, he was sure of it. But, at the same time, he felt he might also attract Kaede's ire, which he didn't want to do.
So he did arrive! Useless. After his earlier encounter with Bender he didn't want to request food again, so... he tried to make something himself.
What he had in hand looked quite nice, it looked like pie in fact, but to any who dare try and eat it... well, they may find it was less edible than it looked.]

[Shinjiro generally regards Bender with Suspicion at best, so when he at some point gets cornered by Kaede and strongarmed (read: smiled at expectantly) into coming along, well..........he figures he might as well bring Actual Food That Doesn't Suck.
Unfortunately, he doesn't really have any idea for what sort of food to bring to a sleepover so he just takes his best guess at snacks others might like, and shows up to the Quad with a couple tupperware containers of a mixture of foods either Japanese or more western, with approximations of okonomiyaki and takoyaki as well your typical brownie and cookie fare. He intends to admit to having made exactly none of these, but maybe you'll catch him before he can quietly slink away from the food table?]
ii. fox only, final destination
[Shinjiro doesn't particularly appear like he belongs at a fun sleepover party; he's dressed not in cute pajamas but in his standard trenchcoat and beanie, and his resting bitch face as it were has not exactly taken an evening off. He doesn't talk much unless he's spoken to, though if one pays attention he's relatively easy to bully into getting more food for you. And as the night progresses, even that ever-present frown seems to recede into something more relaxed, though he doesn't quite smile.
But when it comes time to play games, well...little known fact about Shinjiro Aragaki is that he's actually super competitive. Comes with all those years of hanging around a certain punch boy, perhaps. But it's probably the first time he seems to come more alive, a smirk lighting across his features as you challenge him to anything from a thumb wrestle to a straight up dare.]
Hell yeah, you're on.

Drawn to the snacks like a moth to a flame, Sayori marvels at all the little tupperwares that are now on the table. She wasn't paying much mind to the boy who brought them, but when she opens one up and sees how good the food looks (takoyaki!), she turns quickly to address him.] Hey, is it really okay if we eat these?
[This is a patently stupid question. But the food looks so lovingly made, it seems a little rude to eat it without saying anything at all!]

[A sleepover, huh...? It sounds like the kind of party Dwyer can get into, if only because part of it involves sleeping, and on the grass he loves the most no less! So when he sets up his bedroll, it's with his pillows from his dorm room because of course he'll need some extras. His whole little area is tidy, and there's a towel set down nearby it with a carafe of coffee and a selection of sweeteners and creams...and yes, a lot of still-warm mugs from the cafeteria.
It's okay, he borrowed it very politely and plans on putting it all back once the party's over. But it's also the best he can do on short notice - he saw Kaede's message rather late, and felt like he couldn't show up empty-handed.
The brew is made from the beans he procured in Vista Virs, augmented with cinnamon, which gives it a nice aroma and palatable flavor. The beans weren't the best, but the boy works well with what he's given, and it seems that he's willing to share.]
B: Don't mind me. I'm on a break.
[So, uh. No one told Dwyer that...part of being at a sleepover was that it involved not sleeping for as long as possible. And playing games he's never heard of. And talking long into the night. Basically, this is the antithesis of what a party about sleeping should be about, and he's very confused, but he's lingering near the group out of politeness, working on whittling out the finer details of his little holy symbol of Bahamut. He seems pretty handy with that shitty knife...but also, Dwyer, honey. Stop being antisocial. It's okay.]
