[The thing is, Shouyou has no idea what to expect from this trip. It's not that Shouyou minds Roxas' company--it's the opposite!--but shopping for fancy shmancy clothes sounds so dull that all Shouyou can hope for is that it'll be less painful with a friend around to talk to.]

Oiiii, Roxas! [He lifts a hand to wave once he catches sight of his friend near the base's entrance, steps light and quick as he makes his way over.] Let's get this over with, huh?

[Considering the kind of clothes people tend to wear around in this place, Shouyou's expectations of finding something remotely like a suit from home is incredibly low. With a sigh, he shoves his hands into his black jacket and offers Roxas a small grin.] Maybe we could do something actually fun after we pick out our clothes.

[Roxas waves back, picking up his pace to meet Shouyou in the middle.]

Hey!

And yeah. Hopefully we can find something quick, but I found a few places that I think have what we're looking for. That's a start.

[He's prepared at least. But he nods at the other suggestion.]

I like that plan.

[hightouch]

Sounds like a plan to me! [Shouyou bounces on his toes.] I was just gonna go see what Fantasy Costco had, but your idea's way better.

Eheh. Maybe that place wouldn't have had what we were looking for anyway. [With a laugh, he rubs at the back of his neck.] So, where's the nearest shop?

I'd be more worried about getting lost in there. I'm pretty sure the weapon aisle wasn't where it was last time.

[He's just wary of Fantasy Costco in general.]

It's just a few blocks down the street. I think it's called The Errant Thief?

That's what the guide said, anyway.

[hightouch]

Ugh, seriously? [Shouyou just makes a face at that.] That place is confusing is enough without them moving things around.

Errant Thief? Sounds like a nice place. [He's in the middle of taking a step when he whips his head toward Roxas in surprise.] There's a guide?! Where??

There were a few in the library. I mean, they were kind of hidden but I found a list of all the shops in town that someone did. It looked older? But I think most of the stores are still there.

[Given the secrecy of everything, there can't be too much change.]

[hightouch]

The library.... [Shouyou gives a long, drawn out sigh as he wilts.] That explains why I haven't seen it yet.

The only books I've been looking for are the ones on monsters.

It just seems to be the best place to get information.

Do you not like the library?

[hightouch]

I'm not very good at studying. [That's a gross understatement, if there ever was one. He makes a whimpering sort of sound as he remembers how bad his grades were back home.]

I have a lot of trouble sitting still for a long time.

[seasaltkeys]

I get that. I had...a friend who was kind of like that.

[At least, he assumed Hayner was. That was the digital version after all. Friend is used for lack of a better term, since he's not sure what the real version would think of him.]

Hopefully this won't involve a lot of standing around.

[hightouch]

At least it won't involve books! Or studying. [His brows furrow, like he's actually thinking about this very seriously.] I'd rather stand still than do that.

[He has a feeling there's going to be a lot of adjustment to what he can and can't avoid when they're prepping for missions, though. Thankfully, he's saved from more tiring thoughts when he catches sight of the stores ahead.]

Hey, that's the one you talked about. The thief one!

[Roxas takes a moment to double check his information before looking up at the sign.]

Yeah, that's the place.

It looks a little...fancier than I thought.

[Though, to be fair, he wasn't sure what he was expecting.]

Well, let's do it.

[hightouch]

[Admittedly, Shouyou balks a little when Roxas points out how fancy it looks, but he's not going to back down if Roxas isn't!

Steeling himself, like this is one of the hardest matches he'll ever have to play, Shouyou pushes the door open.]

Let's do this!

[and with that determined cry, he startles the person minding the shop, so they're definitely off to a good start!]

[It's not quite the same level of determination, but it's a similar one as Roxas follows him in. He's a little startled by the cry as well, but seeing as though they have the shopkeep's attention, he might as well speak up.]

Uh, hi. We're...looking for formal wear. For the party.

[Considering there's not a lot on the moon base, he's hoping that's enough information. Though at the mention of formal wear, the shopkeep seems to light up. If only slightly. He's also a tad suspicious.]

Well, you've certainly come to the right place.

[hightouch]

[Shouyou claps his hands together, bowing just a little.]

Please help us! We don't know anything about formal wear!

[Probably not the best impression they could make, but he also doesn't want to spend too much time wandering the shop without knowing what to look for. Their best bet is just asking for help directly.

Thankfully, the shopkeep just laughs.]

Haha! Is that so! Don't worry, boys, I'll have you polished up in no time.

[Not sure of what to do, Roxas follow's Hinata's lead with the bow.]

So, uh...where do we start?

[And with a clap of his hands, some other attendants just seem to appear and guide Roxas and Hinata to some mirrors where they can be measured.]
