1. Like it's 1999

[Wash is having a good time, for the first time in what feels like forever but is really just weeks. He's dressed formally - gray vest and slacks and a light blue dress shirt - and generally mingling, beer in hand and good-natured buzz going. He'll stop to drop in on a conversation, or take up space next to a wallflower and try to engage them in the party. He may or may not be glowing yellow, because those finger sandwiches looked too good to resist, and he can be seen experimenting with light and motion as only those with the ability to dance like complete morons can.]

[Seriously, he can't dance. Please stop him.]

[If you catch him later on in the night, he'll likely have someone else's vest draped over his arm. Have fun with that.]

2. Seven Goddamn Sequels

[There's something terribly sobering about a party going dead dark at all, let alone that abruptly. It's not until the lights come back on and the message flashes across the bracers that Wash really reacts.]

Nope!

[He's seen this horror movie and he wants absolutely none of it.]

3. Is This My Home

[It's an innocuous enough hallway - that is, until you turn the corner and see Wash, standing stock-still in the middle of a scene that really shouldn't be there. There are verdant fields, looking like they drop off in cliffs at the edge of an ocean. There are two large, fairly nondescript buildings in the near distance, and between them what looks like the remains of a burnt-out water park.]

[And streaked throughout is scenery Wash doesn't recognize.]

What the hell?

[Is this your simulation mixed with his? Because this is weirder than even he could have imagined, and he doesn't particularly like it.]

4. Rumor Has It

[Carey's arrival is an abrupt end to the party - even more so than Miss Zarves' quasi-arrival had been - and there will be consequences, Wash is sure of it. There's no way the Bureau at large is going to leave one of their own hanging like that, especially when the other one is in someone's presumably less than hospitable custody.]

[As they're being herded back to their rooms, Wash falls in step with the nearest person.]

Who's Killian?

5. Let's Get Down To Business

[Once the message broadcasts across the bracers, Wash is all business. He can be found at the tailors, looking for a cloak to go over his armor (which is already sealed and temperature regulated and therefore perfect for desert fare); taking his life in his hands by attempting to haggle with Garfield for a more affordable price on a portable power source; busting his ass in the dojo training with his new sword; and even shelving his mild friendly-ish rivalry with Qrow to help out in Qrow's combat classes, teaching his fellow students what he knows about desert survival and helping them improve their hand-to-hand combat.]
