That's an interesting question. Experience wise, I would say both are hell, just different types of hell.

[He traces the rim of his mug in thought.] You could look at it from an ancient Greek perspective and think of them as two primary expressions of suffering. The Greeks loved it when positives and negatives were one in the same. Hope is also despair, poison is an antidote, things like that. I tend to think they were onto something. There's no reason they can't both be the worst thing to experience.
