"Well, nobody seems to know who she is, or was--but everybody knows that she is or was, even if they forget it. So I don't think it's about 'does she exist' but 'why doesn't anyone know for sure who or what she is'. I went to ask the guards by the Voidfish 'cause the Voidfish can make people forget, and I wondered if she'd been forgotten. The only people who knew Kaede and me were both there were the guards and the Voidfish, and I know the guards and the Voidfish didn't change the wall in my room 'cause the guards stayed where they were and the Voidfish doesn't have, you know, legs. Kaede didn't have time to do it before I got back and texted her."
