A lot of things seem to happen at once while you're hunting down one of these books. Yuri is a skilled dancer and manages to evade getting gobsmacked by a number of these floating hellions, and it takes a while for her to get a handle of the situation. At some point, she starts to feel like this is a fruitless endeavor, because, even when she manages to grab one of the books, it seems to fly right out of her hands and land in a new place altogether. What a pain in the butt!
While you do manage to eventually settle down in finding at least one to hold onto, Yuri also notices something that perhaps someone would have to pay attention to in order to actually notice it. There's someone actually in here, gliding meaningfully through the library, poised and largely unbothered by the enchanted books. There's magic around her, letting her "pass without (a) trace" - and you notice, pretty easily, that this is Casariel. She walks up to a specific shelf in a cordoned off section of the library and simply takes a book, and vanishes.
The book that Yuri manages to snatch from the mess of flying literature, is a book on Draconian history. It details out a history of dragons. Although rudimentary by Faerun's standards, it contains information regarding the two competing breeds of dragons: the good metallic broods, and the evil chromatic families.
