[ Ruby's face is tightened into an expression of worry as she comes up beside him and tentatively reaches out (eyeing his familiar for a moment) and lays her hand on his back. Rubbing it slowly in comfort, she leans around him, trying to peer up at his face. ]
It's okay. You don't have to. She can't make you. No one can. No one is going to throw fire or anything else at you.
[ She's not sure that's the problem, but he seems more shaken now than angry. Or maybe still both? She's not always the greatest at picking up on subtler cues, but she tries her best anyway.
