1. The bean Ryuji tosses down there sprouts into 12 bright pink toads, all of which attempt to frantically scramble up the side of the chasm while he yeets himself down it. As they escape and panicked citizens of Thay bump into them, they begin transforming into an escargatoire of flail snails. Which sure is a hell of a sight. Ryuji can't quite see the chaos that inflicts, but he does hear a woman's voice ringing out, though he can't quite tell from where. If he's ever bothered to attend dinner, he might be able to make it out as Rainer's.

A 9, however, was not enough to get a better look at the monster down in the chasm. He is killed nearly instantly, slashed apart by the monster in the chasm as he falls, and — in just as quick of an instant, time resets, and he's back on his feet at the beginning of the loop. Painless, but extremely disorienting.
2. You rolled an 11 on this one. So close! While Ryuji does not have any revelations, nor does he see anything of particular note, he does just. Have a nice sit down and chill moment. Never underestimate how much meditation can help when you're in a stressful situation such as this one.
He also notices that he's not alone. In the physical sense, since there are others who wander to the shrines to pray, but also, in the sense that someone very far away is watching over them. It's nothing more than a nice feeling, however.
3. You weren't getting away from this mission without rolling a 2. Though he may be able to get a few words of terror from the passing beasts, he can't get any of them to stop their desperate attempt to escape. And yeah, there's probably a majestic centaur or two in the crowd!
Who proceed to stampede right over him like he's a Mufasa. Sorry, Ryuji, that's another death to the tally.
